In studio right now we are working on creating cups, saucers, and plate as a family. We had the first part of our review today that was completely on form alone. The sets had to match a given set of words that we chose at the beginning of the project. My words were MODERN,VERSATILE, STRONG. So far everything has gone well. I got some good feedback, but I need to go back and make a couple of changes. Monday we have to have the material choices and designs for the paint or graphic treatments. I’ll post up the rest of what I have once it is finished, but for now… here are some preliminary sketches and models that I have already done.

I feel pretty good about where we are right now in the project…. The model is being 3d printed right now and we really can’t do anything with that until the morning… daniel is downstairs working on making a small model of the button so we can give people a sense of scale. Yichen and i made the street model yesterday afternoon… and i’m working on the process book right now. Kind of sucks that this is the first process book that i have had to make but I have daniels to look at kind of as a guide so that i wont leave anything out i hope! All i know is that i am so ready for this to be over and go home for the break
