I am an enthusiastic, graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Business with a focus in Marketing completed in August 2010, followed by the completion of my second degree in Industrial Design in December 2010. My dual degrees allow me to address every aspect of a project from ideation to marketing and event planning and my award for design shows what I am truly capable of accomplishing.

Most recently, I was the Marketing and Events Coordinator at Westbrook Brewing Company.  I coordinated the participation in multiple charitable contribution campaigns including events for the Association for the Blind and Avian Conservation Center at the facility. I also planned, organized, coordinated, promoted, and facilitated private events at the brewery. On the Marketing side, I directed and monitored e-presence. This included internet material, internet sites of partners, social media, banner advertisements, promotional emails, and many others. I also designed promotional materials such as flyers, tour cards, banners, and posters to distribute and create buzz for our new facility. In addition to promotional materials, I designed merchandise that was sold during our tours and tastings as well as off site festivals.

I also worked for Sweetwater Brewery for well over three years and did graphic design work, marketing, and assisted in sales for the company. I held a position as a tour guide at Sweetwater for the duration of my time at the company. This position involved providing hundreds of patrons guided tours throughout the facility daily. Sweetwater gave me over three years of onsite event production experience with events such as Brew Your Cask Off having as many as 2,000 patrons. I was also a representative for the company off site for festivals such as Bonnaroo, 420 Festival, Taste of Atlanta, and various beer festivals in the southeast for upwards of 20,000 patrons.

In addition, I gained extensive work experience while enrolled full time in college. I have always excelled in academics but also possess an incredible work ethic. As a result, I have gained hands on experience in design, marketing and sales and have also developed outstanding problem solving and public speaking skills. For example, I assisted in opening an exhibit for the Museum of Design Atlanta as a student project manager. As project manager, I was given the opportunity to direct my peers and work with industry professionals in coordinating, designing, and producing the opening of this $60,000 exhibit in a six month time frame.
